  • Tintern Village Hall – Funding towards repairs to the hall roof.

  • Cinderford Miners Welfare Hall – renovation of the Miners Welfare Hall including improving the kitchen and creating dressing rooms.

  • Lydney Festival Committee – funding for the Lydney Docks Folk Music weekend.

  • A.R.T. – Funding towards the Ross on Wye ‘May Fayre’ for 2013.

  • Whitchurch Parochial Church Council – funding for a mobile broadband MiFi system to enable IT classes for older members of the Whitchurch community.

  • Walkers are Welcome Monmouth – funding towards setting up Walkers are Welcome in Monmouth including a web presence and other PR activities.

  • Bridges Photography Initiative – Funding to offer 25 two hour teaching sessions for photography leading to an exhibition in the Gallery at Bridges, Monmouth.

  • The Teddy Bear Club – Hall hire and annual registration fees for Teddy Bear play group in Usk.

  • Friends of Caldicot Castle – purchase and installation of a widescreen TV and DVD player to show the DVD created by the Friends that explains the history of Caldicot Castle.

  • Cwmyoy Memorial Hall – Purchasing a new projector and permanent installation at roof level for use by all of the hall users.

  • Madley Environmental Study Centre – funding for 20 free activity sessions on the Madley nature reserve for children over the summer.

  • Newland Parish Luncheon Club – Hall hire for a luncheon club for over-60’s and other house-bound people from Newland.

  • Caldicot Musical Theatre Society – funding for a performance of Les Miserables by the youth members of the society.

  • Portskwett & Sudbrook Recreation Hall – Purchase of a Ride on Mower for maintaining the playing fields.

  • Abergavenny Tennis Club – Installation of new lighting to enable tennis to be played all year round.

  • Ewyas Harold Taverners Cricket Club funding towards new training equipment for coaching yound players at the club.

  • Gwent Wildlife Trust – funding for a new guide to all of the GWT reserves.

  • Community Matters – Coach hire to enable 2 trips, St Fagans and Porthcawl, for this community group from Abergavenny.

  • Days Out With Dad – funding for 2 events to help Dads engage with sons plus insurance and IT costs.

  • Chepstow Bowling Club – Funding towards extending the club house to provide new ladies changing facilities.

May 2012
  • Brockweir Knit and Stitch – funding for a 3D wall hanging based on a visual map of the village using knitting, applique and rag rugging.

  • Coalway Kids Club – providing equipment and a rain shelter for this kids club covering 3-11 year olds.

  • The Tuesday Club – funding for computer equipment to increase the range of activities offered by this community group.

  • Transition Chepstow – buying tools and secure storage for the community growing ‘hub’ in Chepstow.

  • Undy Church and Community Hall

  • Raglan Music Festival – funding for the Raglan Music festival including music workshops for all of the young people of Raglan.

  • Cross Ash Village Hall – Funding for kitchen revovation to bring the catering facilities up to current Environmental standards.

  • Green Tomatoes Theatre Group – funding for a holiday club with dance and drama in South Herefordshire.

  • Tintern Village Jubilee Celebrations – funding for a village festival to celebrate the Jubilee including a 50’s tea for the children and commemorative mugs.

  • Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall – Funding for alterations to the hall to provide wheelchair access.

  • Moccas Village Hall – Installation of new LED lighting to improve energy efficiency.

  • Catbrook Memorial Hall – funding for new blinds to enable more use of the hall.

  • ComBaT – Funding for a day of celebrations for the Diamond Jubilee on 4th June 2012.

  • St Tysoi Church – funding improvements to the churchyard including improving access.

  • DanceFest – funding for a summer dance school at Ross on Wye for local children from 4-14.

  • Border Spinners – funding for spinning equipment to enable this community spinning and weaving group to grow.

  • Wellington Heath Gardening Club – funding for planting wild native plants around the village to mark the Jubilee Year.

February 2012
  • Hands on Theatre - funding for a performance of 'A Streetcar Named Desire' to raise money for charity. 

  • The Trellech Jubilee Festival - funding for a festival in Trellech to celebrate the Jubilee.

  • Monmouth Women’s Festival – funding towards the costs of organising the 2012 Monmouth Women’s Festival.

  • Devauden Music Festival – funds towards the cost of arranging the 2012 music festival.

  • Raglan Local Ways – funding for leaflets with descriptions of walks in the Raglan area.

  • Abergavenny Allotments – installation of a composting loo for use by people working at the allotments.

  • Ross on Wye & Monmouth Sea Cadets – purchasing a rowing boat for training cadets.

  • Home-Start  Herefordshire – funds for training 20 home visit volunteers.

  • NaCOT – development of a new web site to encourage poetry through the Forest of Dean and Monmouthshire.

  • Redbrook Millennium Green Trust – funding for the 2012 music festival on the Millennium Green.

  • The Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra – commissioning a new work to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the orchestra.
